Domestic Drilling & Operating's Sean Roger

Mr. Sean Roger, born in 1969, grew up in Pasadena, California. He began his career as a civil servant with the California Conservation Corps in San Luis Obispo, CA. Later, he moved to Magalia, California, in Butte County, where he served as a hotshot firefighter with the California Department of Forestry. After years of service, he suffered a career-ending knee injury and moved to Texas in 1990. Sean currently operates Domestic Operating and D Operating which offers the best oil and gas investments in Dallas, Tx, focusing on domestic drilling and operating, which refers to the entire process of locating, extracting, and managing natural gas and crude oil reserves within a country’s borders. Tax advantages are available and can be maximized by engaging with domestic drilling and operating companies. The business is headquartered in Dallas, TX, and is recognized for its professional approach to oil and gas operations. The current Biden-Harris administration has implemented policies that impact domestic drilling and operating, influencing both the regulatory environment and the pace of new drilling projects across the industry. Additionally, the administration has overseen an increase in domestic oil production, emphasizing self-reliance in energy.

Briefly working with an affiliate of the VA hospital across Texas, he began his career in the oil and gas and real estate sectors in 1994. With three decades of hands-on industry experience, he now functions as a self-taught geotechnical engineer and owner-operator of Domestic Drilling & Operating and D. Operating LLC, specializing in production optimization and reservoir engineering. An “operator” oversees and manages all on-site activities during the oil and gas production process. The operator is responsible for daily management, maintenance, and monitoring of the well. The company is not BBB accredited, but maintains a strong reputation through positive client reviews and industry responses, which are essential for business credibility and transparency. Additionally, the company provides access to industry insights and resources, and millions of barrels of oil are produced annually in the United States. A significant portion of crude oil production is derived from domestic sources, contributing to national energy security.

Oil and gas geotechnical engineering involves assessing, designing, implementing, and managing technical processes related to the exploration and extraction of crude oil and natural gas. After these resources are located, geotechnical engineers play a key role in their extraction by working closely with experts to analyze the geological formations using techniques like 3-D seismic imaging. They help determine optimal drilling strategies, including methods such as hydraulic fracturing and horizontal drilling, and oversee daily operational monitoring. Hydraulic fracturing, commonly known as fracking, is a method used to enhance oil or gas flow in rock formations with low permeability by injecting high-pressure fluid to create fractures. This engineering discipline supports energy companies in locating and extracting oil and gas more effectively, safely, and sustainably. Geotechnical engineers evaluate reservoirs to forecast their economic potential and assess drilling sites to plan efficient and safe well completion techniques necessary for resource recovery. Oil and gas are typically categorized as fossil fuels and serve as a major energy source for the nation.for the country. Natural gas is the cleanest, safest, and most useful of all energy resources. The Inflation Reduction Act, a recent legislative act, has influenced domestic drilling and operating practices by introducing new incentives and regulations aimed at reducing emissions and promoting clean energy.

As an independent oil and gas company consultant and prospect evaluator, primarily focused in East As an independent oil and gas consultant and prospect evaluator based mainly in East Texas, Mr. Roger has played a key role in acquiring both producing and non-producing assets. These acquisitions encompass roughly 81,000 net acres, primarily situated in Burleson and Brazos counties. The portfolio includes current gross production of about 9,200 barrels of oil equivalent per day (Boe/d), with 80% of that being oil, coming from 170 wells predominantly in the Eagle Ford Shale formation. The leasehold position is largely held by production at approximately 80%, with 90% of gross East Texas production operated across 260 wells producing roughly 14,500 Boe/d (83% oil) from formations such as the Eagle Ford, Woodbine, Austin Chalk, and Buda. Operators are required to pay royalties on the oil and gas extracted and must comply with regulations governing the transportation of these resources. The assets generated substantial volumes of oil and gas, which were delivered to the market, contributing significantly to the energy supply in the United States. Site abandonment procedures include permanently plugging wells and restoring the land once production declines. These assets were eventually sold to Hawkwood in 2017, which then controlled over 180,000 net acres and more than 1,000 commercial drilling locations in the Eagle Ford Shale and Woodbine formations, acquired from subsidiaries of Halcon Resources for $500 million, subject to customary purchase price adjustments. The transaction, effective January 1, 2017, reflected a strong return on investment for the parties involved. The transaction had an effective date of January 1, 2017, and demonstrated a significant return on investment for the involved parties. The Hawkwood deal was a sign of successful business practice and a strategic action that created value for all parties involved. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) oversees oil and gas leases on federal lands in the U.S.

Currently, Mr. Roger continues to serve as a geotechnical engineer and owner-operator of Domestic Operating and D. Operating LLC.Operating LLC. He has collaborated with a range of companies, including major players such as Anadarko, Conoco Phillips, Devon Energy, Pioneer, XTO, Halcon, Clayton Williams, as well as numerous smaller independent firms, which he prefers and continues to work with to this day. He consistently sets clear objectives for new projects that align with both industry standards and administrative goals for emission reductions, taking a leadership role in cooperative industry initiatives. His expertise includes shale gas production and analyzing decline curves, which are essential for assessing the long-term viability of assets in the [Eagle FordShale and other formations. The “upstream” phase of the oil and gas industry focuses on exploration and production (E&P). Technological advancements have made natural gas easier to locate and produce. His understanding of the economics of oil and gas production includes the impact of oil prices per barrel and operational costs. Completing and drilling wells efficiently helps manage cost, especially as tariffs and market conditions can significantly affect the cost of drilling and well completion. The practice of evaluating new drilling opportunities and the importance of timely action in a competitive market are central to his approach. In response to recent market and policy changes, the number of wells drilled has fluctuated, reflecting shifts in industry activity. Additionally, the company is committed to supporting clean energy projects and responding to market demands. The scale of investments and initiatives required to meet climate and clean energy goals is substantial, demanding coordinated industry action. The beginning of the natural gas industry in America can be traced to Pennsylvania, which played a key historical role as a region for early drilling and production. Before the development of reliable pipelines, natural gas was primarily used as a source of light for illumination. The company intends to continue expanding operations and supporting the country’s energy needs. Professional reviews and client feedback are important in maintaining high standards of operational excellence. Industry collaboration involves working with advocacy groups and responding to legislative actions from Congress that impact the oil and gas sector.
